He gave us the sweetest smile ever while sleeping away in a family heirloom of ours. I spied the suitcase out of the corner of my eye while visiting with my mother-in-law and my heart soared out!! It was her mothers and even has her initials on it.

I love this cocoon for boys, both mom and I agree it looks like a giant sock! It is so cute!

I thought I would attempt a little extra post processing with the photo below to create a more antique feel. I rarely use textures in my work but have fun playing around with them lately. All this needs is a plate of cookies and glass of milk with a letter to Santa to complete it! What a beautiful smile!!

When Abby was just a baby I used to sing her to sleep along with Celine Dion singing in the background "Beautiful Boy" by The Beatles only I would switch it to "Beautiful Girl". My mom gave me her CD for Abby's baby shower so it was special to me. I don't sing nearly as much as I should to Madison as she tends to not need as much soothing. There is so much more going on with her big sister that she has a full day and comfort in hearing Abby run around having temper tantrums at bedtime or listens to stories being read to Abby. I really notice a difference on those days where Abby is away. She seems so out of sorts without her big sister. This precious little one reminded me so much of that song. He truly is a "Beautiful Boy".....
