I had the pleasure to meet such a nice family yesterday afternoon with their brand new baby girl. At just under two weeks old I was amazed at how awake and aware she was and she was lifting her head already!
I love both of these poses. It really shows how small and tender they are when they are first born. They only fit in mom and dads hands for such a very short period of time. For most babe in hand type shots I would recommend trying this within the first 2 weeks as they grow at an astonishingly fast rate.
Mom is a natural beauty! I didn't have the chance to really notice when she was here but she has the most amazingly beautiful eyes I have ever seen.
Babe was reluctant to sleep for some of the poses. We managed to coax her into a little snooze for the shot below.(I have to say a special thank you to my mother in law for finding this adorable baby doll crib and thinking of me the other day!!! I love it!! )
Finally near the end of her photo session she fell into a beautiful slumber in dads arms as I was attempting to capture her tiny little toes and hands. She looks so peaceful and dreamy here.
