Christmas!!

One more sleep until the big, roly poly, jolly old St. Nick visits our home while our girls are in dream land of candy canes and "frollipops" as Madison likes to call them. Since I couldn't wait to put the tree up back in November, I just had to change things around this week to bring the feeling of excitement back in anticipation for the girls. Next year I promise to wait until after December 1st to decorate. This will be year two of not learning my lesson. With young children it is almost to much to anticipate the holidays for over a month. The idle threats of Santa not coming if they continue to misbehave start to mean little to them. I swore I would never do that but now that I have a 4 year old to work with that is very strong willed, it just comes out.

I hope that everyone enjoys their holidays and avoids the evil flu virus that is going around. Yup, it graced us the past couple of weeks and Matt is currently suffering the worst of it today. Fingers crossed that he feels better for tomorrow or we are going to have a quiet Christmas Eve :(.
