3 years ago today we were at the hospital welcoming my sweet baby girl into the world. After 32 hours of labour after being induced and progressing to only 4 cm, she was born to us by c-section at 39 weeks along. When I heard her first cry and saw her for the first time, I have to say it was one of the happiest moments in my life. She has changed our lives in the best way possible. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART!!!
We managed to tucker her out for a nap with no arguing this afternoon. She had so much fun with her friends this morning. She has been looking forward to this event all week and getting into lots of mischief (more then usual) throughout the week in anticipation for her birthday. When we asked her what she wanted for her birthday all she asked for was a "Nemo" cake and lots of friends to come. Well, that is what we gave her. I managed to find a very talented cake maker in Bommanville through my online Mommy group. Thank you Melissa from Melissa's Cakes http://melissascakes.synthasite.com. The look on her face when she saw it was wonderful!
The cake was so beautiful I didn't want to cut it :), Abby on the other hand had her finger in there right away for a taste!
These photos I took quickly as there was much going on with all the guests but I just had to share my joy in celebrating my first baby girls birthday with you and this most amazing cake! It was delicious too by the way :)
