I grew up a wild, yet calm and quiet spirit. You could barely get shoes on me and I was always climbing trees as high as the branches would allow me and daydreaming often while gazing at the wonders of nature. It is a small wonder that I have somehow passed some of my characteristics onto Abby. She is a very spirited and clever little girl. She figured out how to get the door knob covers off in less then 2 minutes at just over 2 years old and scales the kitchen counter these days in search for whatever she can get her hands on to my dismay. I have this list of things that she has gotten into that keeps on growing...vaseline smeared all over her and her room, she loves to pour lotion everywhere, powder, she built a block tower really tall and secured the pieces by using the contents of a tube of tooth paste, another tube of tooth paste was squeezed out on our furniture downstairs, she has gotten a hold of a brand new lipstick from my purse and squished it to oblivion all over my white throw pillows thinking it was the coolest playdoh ever...sigh...she has great potential to be a great artist...or scientist. All of these things happen so fast too. These pictures I captured the other day are kind of a rarity for her as she would much prefer to wear pants these days.
Madison just adores her big sister and always wants to follow her, especially now that she can CRAWL!!!! She picked it up two weeks ago right after the weekend she got her first tooth! She can also pull herself up on anything in site and loves to hold my hands and try to walk! She is such a happy little girl.

This little guy posed so well for me I managed to capture a few shots of him. I love dragon flies, there is something so poetic and mystical about them.
